Did You Know....?

Did you know that many baby girls, at around 2 or 3 days old, have an inaugural menstrual period? It is caused by the loss of hormones she was exposed to in her mother's womb.

I learned about this fun fact while reading this powerful article, and my mind was blown. I had no idea!

Because I felt unethical posting a picture of someone else's baby without their consent, this is a picture of me shortly after birth. :-)
