Check out this great article from the Harvard Business Review about four ways women stunt their careers unintentionally.
I know personally I have a tendency to apologize for every.damn.thing. I don't know why I feel the need to say, "I'm sorry" for little things, but I do. Half the time I'm not every truly sorry, but saying it has become a bad habit. I need to be better at just saying nothing, or saying something like, "Thanks for the feedback, I'll make changes as necessary." I'm sure consistently apologizing makes it appear like I keep making mistakes or have low-confidence.
This article is great for women to keep in mind!
